This is a yellowish-red product processed under pressure from red ginseng made by steaming and drying fresh ginseng in order to preserve it.
This red ginseng product is made with dedication and contains the unique flavor and nutrition of red ginseng.
The product is processed with steaming and drying until the moisture content falls below 15%. During processing a non-enzymatic browning reaction occurs, producing a dark brown color.
Steep 12-20 g of red ginseng in 1 L of water over a low flame before consuming. Even better when steeped together with jujube.
Consume the steeping liquid three times per day, before meals on an empty stomach or after meals.
The ginseng saponins which are the main medicinal components of Korean ginseng are called ginsenosides.
Korean ginseng contains 30 types of chemically distinct saponins which are different from the saponins found in other kinds of plants—considerably more than the 14 types found in American ginseng and the 15 types found in Chinese ginseng.
